Deliverable(s): A complete workflow and process for collecting and reporting on student results in General Education courses at WSU using existing systems and no additional funding or staff.
The General Education Assessment Committee (GEOC) at Wayne State needed a robust and sustainable system for tracking learning outcomes across the entire University. Using a combination of multiple technologies within Canvas, I created a workflow which is now used in over 600 courses each semester. The system requires minimal training for faculty and the data is collected centrally. The GEOC has completed several assessment cycles and the data has been accepted and verified by the State of Michigan.
This project provided enhanced functionality, as well as the opportunity to satisfy accreditation requirements at no additional cost to the University.
