I am a long-time member and current Chair of the Latinx Faculty and Staff Association. The mission of the Latinx Faculty and Staff Association is to build an inclusive community and provide support for Wayne State’s Latina/o/x faculty, staff and students across all levels and across the entire campus community.
Our organization meets monthly to discuss isssues of representation and advocacy across campus. We have many campus partners, including the Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies, the Black Faculty/Staff Association, Association for Chinese Faculty and Staff, Middle Eastern North African Association (MENA), QWSU (The Queer Faculty and Staff Organization of Wayne State).
